Having shot their engagement shoot back in June, I had discovered the fun sides of both Allison and Adam. But little did I know that they both had such emotional sides. Prior to their ceremony, they had requested that we do a private “first look” between them both. I think my favourite shot of the day was just that, when Adam sees Allison for the very first time in her beautiful wedding dress….and simply broke into tears! Beautiful, raw emotion that was just quite surreal to see unfold in front of my very eyes. What a beautiful moment that was!
Not only was this another awesome unique wedding captured, it also was my very first Jewish wedding! I couldn’t believe the super fun festivities that took place in the Jewish tradition! I just loved the lifting up of bride and groom in chairs….not to mention, tossing them up in the air just like in a trampoline! They even managed to get one of the best live bands I’ve heard play in a wedding – Shugga. Simply awesome live music that just kept the dance floor going! You should check out more of their work at shugga.ca. Then to cap off the wonderful evening, they brought in some fresh beaver tails as a cool surprise for their guests at the dessert table. I just couldn’t resist and managed to grab a few for myself. 🙂
Oh and I’m also so stoked to be featured on the Pearl Bridal House website!! These guys have AMAZING wedding gowns and bridesmaids dresses! Go check ’em out! Allison is wearing Amour by Kenneth Pool wedding gown and her bridesmaids are wearing Amsale Bridesmaids.
This event took place at The Avenue Banquet Hall in Vaughan, Ontario.
