Tanisha + Omar Wedding

Tanisha the accountant, meets Omar “the sound guy”. With each of their careers worlds apart, it’s funny sometimes how things work out…but you know what they say — opposites attract! 😊 And with music being one of my loves in my life, I was excited how Omar “the sound guy” incorporated music into their wedding day! Both he and his best man, are actually accustomed to setting up sound systems for the big stage concerts & shows here, there and everywhere! Surely, he had to bring some of that flair into their wedding day! He staged it up with a custom vinyl dance floor signage with their logo & wedding date on it, added a ton of moving LED spot lights that beam across the room and added animated video screens to accompany two of the best DJ’s here in Toronto — MTV’s DJ Dopey and Kiss 92.5 FM’s DJ Clymaxxx who took over late evening. Moreover, he not only got DJ Dopey to bring the house down with his beats, but as well got him to emcee! Not one, but TWO DJ’s?!?! …surely, “the sound guy” did not disappoint! Of course, much of the credit also goes to his lovely wife as I hear she keeps him in check most of the time 😉…a well balanced team indeed! Great job on putting this together guys!

My warmest congratulations go out to you both! Thanks for making us part of your special day!

Melanie + Mike Wedding

About a 3 hour drive northwest from Toronto is this gorgeous small town of Point Clark, Ontario. I have two words for you…. backyard wedding!!! A change of gears comes fresh every once in a while with this intimate 40 guest wedding and I just love it!! When Melanie and Mike first told me that they were planning to get married at their parents’ backyard, little knots of excitement went through my head and couldn’t wait to capture their day in such a unique setting! The day started off as they stood in front of close friends and family in the beach front area of the property and said their vows to each other. They then played some good ol’ backyard lawn games like horseshoes, molkky, shuffleboard and bocce. We sat down for dinner served by the wonderful Burkes Catering team while we listened to funny stories by friends & family. And lastly, capped the wonderful night off with the music talents of The Medicine Hat band.

My warmest congratulations to you both! Thanks for making me part of your special day! 🙂
